Hungarian Cultural Studies Vol. 17

2024-09-12

We are grateful for the guidance of the editorial team that ensured continuity at Hungarian Cultural Studies.  We thank our anonymous peer-reviewers who provided high-quality feedback and informed our editorial decisions.  We dedicate this Issue to Paul Olchváry, our editor-in-chief whose sudden death deepened our realization and appreciation of the team effort required to publish this Journal.

This issue includes a plenary invited paper by Christopher Ball, Evolving Hungarian-American Academic Relations.  It also features four fascinating general articles and seven book reviews. It includes an informative historical perspective on Hungary’s relations with Ukraine by Professor Géza Jeszenszky, Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs after the fall of communism.

Our call for papers for volume 18 will be issued soon.  We invite your contributions.  Register an account with the Journal to become an author, reviewer, or contributor. Let us know if you have comments or reflections on volume 17.

With best wishes,

Zsuzsanna Varga, Acting Editor-in-Chief
